Potassium Phosphate Concentrated Injection 10mL

Potassium phosphate injection contains potassium phosphate monobasic 1.0933g and potassium phosphate dibasic 1.0533g in water for injections to 10mL. Each 10mL contains 20 millimole (20 mEq) of potassium and 14 millimole (14 mEq) of phosphate.

Indication

Potassium phosphate injection is indicated for the treatment of severe hypophosphataemia (serum levels <0.3 mmol/L) and other degrees of hypophosphataemia when oral therapy is not possible. It is also used for lowering the pH of urine and the treatment of potassium depletion in patients with hypokalaemia.
