Methylene blue injection contains methylene blue 50 mg in water for injections to 5mL.
Indication
Methylene Blue Injection is used in the treatment of idiopathic and drug-induced methaemoglobinaemia. It is also used as a bacteriological stain, as a dye in diagnostic procedures such as fistula detection and gastro-oesophageal reflux in infants and children and for the delineation of certain body tissues during surgery.
