
Potassium Dihydrogen Phosphate
Potassium dihydrogen phosphate injection contains potassium phosphate monobasic 1.361g in water for injections to 10mL. Each 10mL contains 10 millimole (10 mEq) of potassium and 10 millimole (10 mEq) of phosphate.
Potassium dihydrogen phosphate injection is indicated for the treatment of severe hypophosphataemia (serum levels <0.3 mmol/L) and other degrees of hypophosphataemia when oral therapy is not possible. It is also used for lowering the pH of urine and for the treatment of potassium depletion in patients with hypokalaemia.
